1. Who we are

Flipped ("we," "our," or "us") is a mobile application that provides lease negotiation tools, calculators, and educational content. Our privacy contact is privacy@useflipped.app.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — email address and name when you create an account or join the waitlist
• Usage data — how you interact with the app (screens visited, features used) to improve the product
• Device information — device type, operating system, and app version for technical support
• Images you submit — photos of lease documents you upload to the AI scanner are processed to generate your analysis and are not stored beyond the active session
• Payment information — handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment details.

3. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account
• To deliver the app's core features (lease decoder, AI scanner, scripts)
• To send you important updates about the app or your account
• To send launch notifications and discount offers if you joined our waitlist (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• To improve the product based on usage patterns
• To respond to support requests

4. Document scanning and AI analysis

When you use the AI Lease Scanner, photos of your documents are sent to our secure backend for analysis. These images are processed in real time to generate your results and are not stored, logged, or used for any other purpose. Your lease documents are yours — we have no interest in retaining them.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers. We may share limited data with the following categories of service providers who help us operate the app:

• Supabase — authentication and database infrastructure
• RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management
• Anthropic — AI processing for the document scanner (via our secure proxy)
• Vercel — backend hosting and API infrastructure

All service providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.

6. Data retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights including:

• The right to access the personal data we hold about you
• The right to correct inaccurate data
• The right to request deletion of your data
• The right to opt out of marketing communications
• The right to data portability

8. Children's privacy

Flipped is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication via Supabase, and backend proxies so your data is never exposed directly to third-party APIs. No payment data passes through our systems.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll notify you via email or an in-app notice.
